Will Levis' girlfriend, Gia Duddy, rocks Titans gear after NFL Draft
Will Levis’ loved ones are certainly ready for Titans game days.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Gia Duddy — the longtime girlfriend of Tennessee’s rookie quarterback — was seen wearing a Titans sweatshirt during what appeared to be a post-NFL Draft celebration for Levis.
The festivities featured sweet treats with the Titans’ logo and silver balloons that spelled out the team’s name.
This weekend has been an emotional rollercoaster for Levis, who was selected 33rd overall by the Titans on night two of the 2023 NFL Draft following an agonizing first-round slide.
The former Kentucky quarterback, 23, attended the draft’s opening night festivities Thursday at Union Station in Kansas City, where he was joined by Duddy and his family.
As other NFL prospects heard their names called by league commissioner Roger Goodell — including quarterbacks Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Anthony Richardson, who were taken in the top five by the Panthers, Texans, and Colts, respectively — cameras continuously panned to Levis and his party as the tortuous wait spilled into Friday.
Levis was home in Connecticut when he received that fateful call from the Titans.
“I knew I was going to cry,” Levis told local reporters afterward.
“The tears came immediately. I didn’t really know how the conversation was going to go. It’s one of those things where you feel like you are going to handle yourself and be composed, but the waterworks started flowing and emotions got overwhelming.”
When Levis’ name was finally announced Friday, Duddy — a budding influencer who has been dating the quarterback for more than two years — posted a celebratory message on social media.
“Lets ride @will_levis @titans,” Duddy posted.
Levis said “regardless” of when he was selected, “it’s not going to change” his work ethic.
“You can’t let the circumstances dictate your preparation and the level of intensity you bring to everyday practice. Definitely a little bit of a chip [on my shoulder],” he said.
